Ten Things You May Not Know About CBD
" I have taken no pain killers since starting the CBD oil 2 weeks ago!"
Dave, 62 years
"A glowing testimonial! Highly recommended!"
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound found in cannabis that has significant medical benefits. Unlike THC, CBD does not have any psychoactive properties. A person will not get "high" or have any psychoactive effects. CBD is able to activate the endocannabinoid system (ECS) which regulates a variety of cognitive and physiological processes.
The endocannabinoid system is a system of receptors that are regulated by cannabinoids. Receptors are found throughout the brain and nervous system and is involved with things like pain modulation, appetite, digestion, reproduction, motor learning, epilepsy, stress, and memory. There are several different types of cannabinoids that the endocannabinoid system can act on. Endocannabinoids are natural cannabinoids that your body produces on its own. Phytocannabinoids are produced by the cannabis plant. This includes things like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD (cannabidiol), CBN (cannabinol), and more.
CBD has neuroprotective and neurogenic effects, and its anti-cancer properties are currently being investigated at several academic research centers in the United States and elsewhere. CBD is safe even at high doses.

How do I take CBD oil?
We recommend starting at 2-5 drops, 2 times a day and increasing as needed. Shake the product before use and then put the oil under your tongue, hold it there for 30-60 seconds and then swallow.
Each person has a "sweet spot" where you will see the most benefit. For example, the pain is gone, the anxiety has subsided or the sleep is uninterrupted. Keep increasing your drops until the desired effect is achieved. If you are taking over 10 drops, 2 times a day it may be good to increase the amount of CBD you are taking. More is not always better so starting low to find out what your body needs makes both financial sense and maximum health benefit for you.
